Happy October! I've spent the morning putting out my Hallowe'en decor, changing banners, putting up Jack O'Lanterns all over my living room, making minor repairs on some of the things I still want to put out, and it's been a fun morning. Tad has been busy cutting down the tree in the back yard and carting it to the landfill. It'll probably be a 4 trip job before he's finished. I painted more of the chairs yesterday, and will be able to finish them this afternoon. The weather is still holding, and it's a beautiful fall day, but the storms will be spiraling in over the weekend. The timing has been perfect to get the chairs done. Yay!
Today is the final day of Homecoming week at school, and there will be very little, if any, educating or learning done today. 35 minute classes will accomodate the Homecoming parade this afternoon, and Hailey fully expects to be home early today. In the spirit of dress up day, here is her offering for Hillcrest Crazies Day.
